T15
Data verifiedT15 combines high carbon, about 5% vanadium and 5% cobalt on a 12% tungsten base — the wear-resistance flagship of the conventional T-series. It serves abrasive cutting and cold work where M4-class steels wear too fast.

Applications & Processing
Applications: Form tools, broaches, milling cutters for abrasive steels, cold work punches, powder-compaction tools.
Processing: Very difficult to grind; CBN essential. Often superseded by PM grades (which are T15-like chemistries made by powder metallurgy).
