430F
Data verified430F is the free-machining version of 430, with sulfur added for chip breaking in high-volume screw machining. It keeps the corrosion resistance of 430 in non-welded parts but should not be welded.

Applications & Processing
Applications: Solenoid and valve parts, fasteners, fittings, gears, automatic-lathe components.
Processing: Best machinability of the ferritic family; sulfur makes welding impractical and lowers transverse toughness.
